WALKERS
Special thanks to Maura McAuliffe for organising our monthly flat walks. We enjoyed our first walk on Friday, 5th April from Ardclough to Hazelhatch, returning by Lyons Estate for refreshments.
NEXT WALK
Next walk Friday 3rd May, Naas to Sallins (cafe in Sallins) and return, approx. 9km in total, on good surface.  Meet Naas Harbour at 11am (former location of Naas library). Try to travel with a friend/friends to assist parking in Naas. Maura recommends: Best parking in Naas is Hedermans car park, €3 for the day. Parking near the harbour/on Main Street is 2 hours max. Otherwise multistory car park at €4:50 per day. Walk will take longer than 2 hours. Wear good, comfortable walking shoes. See you there for exercise and chat. 1. FLAT WALKS

I’m delighted to hear that the short walks have restarted. Today (5th April) was first one –  from Ardclough (meeting at 11 oclock), along the canal to Hazelhatch, returning by Lyons Estate for coffee, about 9km.

Special thanks to Maura McAuliff for organising the walks – put the first Friday each month into your “WALKING DIARY” – venues will be notified closer to time. Hopefully we might get some pics – until then all I can offer is me completing the Camino – two beautiful sunny days then three of driving rain and sleet … but I made it!
