The Royal Ascot Trials Day at Naas Racecourse is one of the flagship meetings in the Irish and Naas Racing calendar with over €300,000 in prize money, especially for those preparing for Royal Ascot glory.

This year everyone is invited to come racing for FREE and join in the festivities at a special Centenary Raceday as we commemorate Naas Racecourse’s 100 years of racing heritage.

Royal Ascot Trials Day is Naas Racecourse’s pinnacle flat card of the season, boasting two Group Three races, the Goffs Lacken Stakes (Group 3) and the Coolmore Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes (Group 3). There are also competitive Listed races with the Owenstown Stud Stakes and Sole Power Sprint Stakes.

To honour the racetrack’s illustrious past, amateur drama groups from around the country will be in attendance on the day and stepping back in time to embrace the glamour of the 1920s by showcasing vintage attire reminiscent of the era. Racegoers are encouraged to do the same. The best 1920s inspired outfit on the day will be treated to a VIP Day at Naas races along with an overnight stay and dinner at Lawlor’s of Naas Hotel.

Along with an eight-race card, attendees will be treated to an array of entertainment on the day, including live music, kids’ entertainment, sizzling BBQ’s and discounted hospitality packages.
