Details for Wednesday 21st:
Pick up Newbridge at the Church/school (where there is a bus parking bay) at 08:30.
Pick up Naas at the Woodies/Smyths (the Ball shopping center) car park at 08:45.
It’s a two hour drive to Carlingford so we will stop either at the service station at Balbriggan or Strandfield near Dundalk for coffees/loo. The latter is nicer but we may need facilities earlier!
Those who intend walking both to and from O Meath should bring a packed lunch. Those doing one way only, can be picked up in O Meath and can eat back in Carlingford – plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants there. It’s a lovely little place to walk around too.
The “both way” walkers should have time to grab something before the bus journey home.
Unfortunately I can’t give an approximate return time – it depends on the walking speed! But you can contact people when we’re on our way home.
You will be delighted to know that this is a FREEBIE. RTA are covering the entire cost of the bus. Please have at least €2 in cash for a tip for the driver.
It is imperative that everyone is ON TIME for the bus pick ups.
Lastly, put out the child of Prague if you have one. At this stage weather looks ok for Wednesday – but this is Ireland!
